AnyIndo - In this article we are going to share an article it is Improving Battery Life On Sony Xperia Z3 Compact (No Xposed). A lot of people need long battery life because Android devices is too lavish. Especially when we use our android devices to use internet, it takes heavy battery and we need more electric. Not all tutorial about the title "improving battery life on android" works well, because some of blogs just telling like shit to get many visitor without have good tutorial for their visitor. But in this article we would like to guide Xperia Z3 compact user to follow this tutorial to improve battery life on their device, if they want to follow this.


We found other solutions to save battery life without Xposed framework and without greenfy application. You know, this have helped a lot and your phone does not drain the battery when in idle or screen off. Just if you trust this tutorial, lets follow this:


Device Settings:

  1. Go to Wi-fi and press 3 dot on right corner =>> Advanced =>> Keep Wifi on during sleep and set "Never". It means wifi will disconnect home when screen off about 15 minutes. You dont have to worry because wifi will connect again if you unlock the screen. Turn off Network Notification" and "Scanning always available".

  2. Go to Xperia Connectivity and turn off when it is not used.

  3. Go to "More =>> and find Mobile networks =>> Prefered network type =>> and set to 3G (prefered GSM) if you dont watch youtube or movies. According to us 3G or H+ is fast enough if  internet network in your area is good. 

  4. Go to Display and turn on Adaptive brightness, set sleep as 1 minute. Turn off Smart backlight control, Daydream and Tap to wake.

  5. Go to Sound and notification =>> Other sounds and turn off everything.

  6. Go to Apps=>> All and disable the following apps, but you dont have to disable the apps you are using:

·         Docs

·         Drive

·         Google App (this app drain a lot of battery)

·         Google Play Books

·         Google Play Movies & TV

·         Google Play Newstand

·         Google Text To Speech

·         Google+ (this app drain a lot of battery)

·         Hangouts App (this app drain a lot of battery)

·         Support (We think that we don’t need its support anymore)

·         Talkback6

7. Go to Location =>> Set ‘’Mode’’ as Battery saving.

8. Go to Accounts and turn off some sync you don’t want to be synced.

9. Go to Developer options =>> change Window animation scale, "Off"
10. And your phone will feel faster than before

These are the steps that you should follow to perform a hard reset in your Sony Xperia Z3 Compact.Perform a hard reset using hardware keys if you want to reset to factory default settings if you cant access setting to manually reset it.

These are the following problems may fix once the hard reset is completed.


  • Forgotten Pattern Password
  • Forgotten Pin Password

Use Internal Settings

1.Turn on SONY XPERIA Z3 COMPACT (D5803 / D5833 / M55w) smartphone

2.Don’t forget to backup all important data

3.Go to menu: Setting > Backup & reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset Phone

4.Choose Erase everything to continue and confirm you ready to do the format SONY XPERIA Z3 COMPACT (D5803 / D5833 / M55w)

5.The SONY XPERIA Z3 COMPACT (D5803 / D5833 / M55w) will continue the step until ready to use in clean factory default.

Use Sony PC Companion

1.PC Companion is default applications for Sony Smartphone which can be download from Sony Website

2.After install at our computer, open PC Companion Applications

3.Before connect to phone, please choose Phone Update and follow several step at PC Companion

4.At some menu, PC Companion will tell us how to connect the phone with PC Companion using USB cable and press the Volume Down button

5.Finish the PC Companion step and until it doing Factory Reset to SONY XPERIA Z3 COMPACT (D5803 / D5833 / M55w) to factory default Android operating system.

Use Hardware Keys

1.Turn off the SONY XPERIA Z3 COMPACT (D5803 / D5833 / M55w)

2.Press and Hold together: Power Button + Volume Up Button for several seconds

3.Follow the menu at LCD screen to continue the hard reset SONY XPERIA Z3 COMPACT (D5803 / D5833 / M55w)

4.Reboot System

5.Follow on screen to continue using Sony Xperia Z3 Compact (D5803 / D5833 / M55w)
