Samsung Galaxy Note 6 “Lite” Rumored To Come WIth 4GB RAM Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will be pretty expensive and Samsung already has a cheaper alternative for those who may not be able to afford it. According to rumors, there will be a ‘Lite’ version of the device and the specifications can pass for a flagship. Although certain features will be removed to make it less expensive, the device still looks good on paper.




Samsung Galaxy Note Lite will still retain the 5.8? screen but the resolution is said to be 1080p. Also, instead of 8GB RAM, the device will sport “only” 4GB RAM. It is rumored to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.

As reported last month, the real Samsung Galaxy Note 6 might ship with Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 clocked at 3.0GHz and a whopping 8GB RAM is said to be onboard. The device will feature a QHD display on its 5.8-inch screen And there are speculations tthe device will come with iris scanner.

At the moment, Samsung is yet to give an hint and nothing is official yet. These are rumors that cannot be totally believed but still, that doesn’t mean they should be completely discarded. However, nothing is certain until the device is actually released later this year.

HOW TO CHANGE THE BOOT LOGO ON  MTK DEVICE USING LOGO BUILDER

One of the things On MTK devices the ability to customize your device to your very taste. Right from the booting up to shutting down.

Today I will be sharing with you a tutorial on how to change your boot logo on mtk device.

Logo.bin: this is the first image you see when your device boots up. It contains the first boot image and also all the battery charging icons. This file is found inside your backup folder that means you must have an mtk backup of your rom to access this file. 

Logo_bin: this is the second image that appears when your device is booting up. This image appears very quickly just about 3 secs. You can find this image inside your phone. It’s located inside

/system/media/image/logo_bin.

Requirements:
Pc.
Mtk backup of your rom.
Logo builder. Download here.
File Manager. Preferably Root explorer. Download here.
Custom recovery. CWM OR TWRP
Sp Flashtool (optional) download here.

How to change logo.bin:1. First you have to copy the logo.bin file from your mtk backup folder to the desktop.

2. Extract “LogoBuilder_v1.5.1”, open the folder and launch logo builder.

3. In the next screen that appears, just click on close.

4. Click on create project.

5. Select the logo you copied earlier and click open.

6. Select an empty folder or you create a folder where you will like to extract the files and click ok

7. The logo.bin will be extracted. You will see a copy in the logo builder window.

8. Go to the folder where you extracted the files and edit any of the images.

9. Make sure you use the same resolution and also rename the image you want to use to the same name as the one you want to replace.

10. Once you are through editing the images. Go back to the logo builder and click on make.

11. After re packing, a flashable zip  and logo.bin  file will be created.

12. Open the folder where you extracted the logo.bin and copy the update.zip file.

13. Paste the update.zip in the root directory of your sd-card and flash through recovery.

14. CONGRATULATIONS!!! You have just successfully changed your boot logo.

N.B:

“For advanced users, you can also flash the logo.bin you see in the folder with sp flash tool.

“It’s not compulsory the images you use are png, just rename any image to png.

“Make sure the file size of the image you are using is not too large.

Second Image.

How to change logo_bin:

1. Open the logo builder if you have closed it.

2. Click on the second BL as shown in the image below.

3. Select any image you want to use and click open (make sure the image resolution is the same resolution as your device).

4. Select the folder where you will like to save the image and click on save.

5. Now open the folder where you saved the file and copy it to your sd card.

6. On your phone use any root file explorer (preferably root explorer)

7. Copy and paste the logo_bin from your sd-card to /system/media/images/

8. That’s all. Now you are done.

Tip: you can also create the logo_bin by just dragging any image on to the logo builder.

Though this has been tested on different mtk devices without any error. 9jarom won’t be held responsible for any damage done to your device.

Why You Should Not Upgrade To Android 7 0 Nougat

This is Why I May Never Upgrade to Android 7.0 Nougat

Android 7.0 Nougat is about to change the phase of Android OS with enforced system integrity boot checks, which wont allow Android to boot if the boot image or partitions are corrupt. Unlike the initials Android 4.4 kitkat OS that has supported verified boot.

Enforcing verified boot is definitely a step toward greater security for Android users, but it could also lead to more problems on devices suffering from software and/or hardware issues, where the possibility for disc corruptions to occur is greater.

You should also note that enforcing verified boot could potentially make it harder to root Android 7.0 Nougat and also difficult to install custom roms. Those with hard locked bootloaders will understand what I’m saying.

In other words, devices coming preloaded with Android 7.0 Nougat or upgraded to Android 7.0 might be root forbidden… You root it, you damage the software hence corrupting the boot image. You may not be able to tweak it the way you want.
I cant imagine how life will be without being able to root a device, tweak the device the way I want. Life will be difficult without rooting an Android device.

This is why I may never upgrade to Android 7.0 Nougat. I don’t know about you.

• On your Oppo Neo 7, go to Settings > Security > Unknown Source (tick this) to enable it.

• Download and install Oppo Tools v1.6.3 or Oppo Tools v1.6.5 applications on your Oppo neo 7. These applications are used to root and unroot your Oppo Neo 7 and you can choose which version you want to use.

• After you download and install Oppo Tool application on your Oppo Neo 7 (Remember that this Oppo Tool application can only work on ColorOS)

• After you install Oppo Tool application youll see such file:

• Open and click on the COMMON tab,and click ROOT

• After that you will be asked to install Oppo ToolsPlugin, just click Next

• Installation process will run automatically

• Then after Oppo Tools plugin installed on your Oppo Neo 7, open One Key Root menu and press One Key Root button. (re-open Oppo Tools, select COMMON and press ROOT again).

• If this process is successfully then your Oppo Neo 7 will reboot automatically and you will find an application named SuperSU. This application installed on your application and menu.

• Done, your Oppo Neo 7 has been rooted successfully.

How To Root Samsung Galaxy J2 SM-J200 And Install TWRP Recovery

• Once you have downloaded all the files above, now turn off your Smartphone

• After turning off, you need to boot into Download Mode, to boot into Download Mode press and hold the “Volume Down + Home + Power” together to Download Mode is active.

• In the Download Mode you will see a yellow triangle warning signs, in this situation you have to press the Volume Up key to continue.

• Now, open the file that you have downloaded Odin3_v3.exe.

• Then connect your smartphone to a computer via USB cable

• After you connect the smartphone to a computer, Odin will automatically recognize device and message “Added“

• Once the device is detected by Odin, click on the button “AP” and select the file twrp-2.8.7.0-j2lte.img.tar
• Now, click on the “Start” button in Odin to start Flahing, Flashing usually takes 30-50 seconds to complete the process of flashing the Samsung Galaxy J2 SM-J20. Once the flashing process in completed you will be able to see a green box with the words “Pass” in Odin. During this process the Smartphone will automatically re-boot

• When finished installing TWRP on Samsung Galaxy J2 SM-J200, now is the stage of rooting the Samsung Galaxy J2 SM-J200
• Move file SuperSU.zip  to the internal storage your smartphone
• Then turn off your Samsung Galaxy J2 SM-J200
• Then go into Recovery Mode by pressing and holding down the “Volume Up + Home + Power” simultaneously until the TWRP Recovery mode
• Once you have booted into TWRP recovery mode, Press on Install and select the package SuperSU.zip who have moved to SDCard memory.

• Swipe to Confirm (form left to right) and you can see some process on the screen of your device

• Now, reboot your device from TWRP recovery.

• Now to make sure you have succeeded in Root Samsung Galaxy J2 SM-J200, open the application menu on your Smartphone and you will find SuperSU application, if the application is on your smartphone, then it means you have succeeded in your Smartphone device Root

Microsoft launches Windows 10 Antivirus Feature with Background Malware Scanning Feature

Finally Microsoft seems to have ditched the unpopular Microsoft Security Essentials tool in favour of a native full fledged antivirus tool. Microsoft will be bring the new anti-virus with Microsoft’s Insider Preview Build 14352 of Windows 10, which can provide additional protection to users irrespective of the antivirus solution running on their computers.

Known as Limited Periodic Scanning, this new feature configures Windows Defender to scan the system in intervals even if other antivirus solutions are used primarily. It also performs with Windows Defender on your PC to remove malware that a third-party solution might not identify. The main idea behind the feature is to improve system security by using Windows Defender as a second-opinion scanner on Windows 10 devices. This is an optional feature that is not enabled by default. It can be enabled from the Settings app > Update & security > Windows Defender > Limited Periodic Scanning.

Windows Defender was automatically disabled in the past in Windows 8 and Windows 10, when users installed a third-party antivirus solution, so Microsoft is changing this behavior with the Anniversary Update. These periodic scans can run side by side with your third-party antivirus and ensure that no malware reaches your data, even though the fully featured Windows Defender won’t remain active.


Microsoft assures that the automatic scans will occur at the most convenient times, for instance, they won’t start if you are playing games, as it may have an influence on the performance of the system.

“These periodic scans will utilize Automatic Maintenance – to ensure the system chooses optimal times based on minimal impact to the user, PC performance, and energy efficiency – or customers can schedule these scans. Limited Periodic Scanning is intended to offer an additional line of defense to your existing antivirus program’s real-time protection,” Microsoft explains.


To see if there’s anything wrong with your PC, you can always open the default Windows 10 antivirus solution, and the results of these scans are available in Windows Defender. In addition, alerts advising you of the results of the scan will be displayed with the toast notification system and contained in the Action Center for quick examination.

Windows Defender continues to be the default security app on computers where a third-party antivirus solution isn’t available. So, this feature will be enabled by default. While currently this feature is only available for consumers, Microsoft is thinking of adding it to commercial versions of Windows 10 too.

At the moment, Limited Periodic Scanning is available in Windows 10 build 14352 but will be provided to retail users with the Anniversary Update due in the summer.
