Steps:
- Download all file above, except asus zenfone 2 firmware. You have to specify in which version your zenfone 2 is, and then download one of them.
- Turn off your device.
- Go to recovery mode, it is by holding power + volume up button for few seconds. it is called fastboot mode. and then press Recovery, you can use volume button to navigate it and power button to select it. By doing this, you will see ASUS logo on the display, and then changes to be an android baby robot.
- Press volume down button, always press it and then click volume up button.
- Press it simultaneously
- Till in this session, you will see the display named recovery mode, use volume button to navigate and select wipe data/ factory reset, press button power to confirm it.
- It will automatically restore the factory settings. After all is completed youll see the language settings on the screen.
- Select apply update from ADB.
- Connect your device to PC vua USB.
- Open the command prompt on the windows (in same folder where ADB is there also)
- Check the connection with ADB , if the connection is successful it will become the list of zenfone 2 device.
- Type adb sideload file.zip (.zip, apk, or .exe are specified to file name of the firmware you downloaded before).
- Wait until the process is completed.
- Your device will automatically clean all the data and file to return as factory settings.
- Done.
This method can be used also to unroot or downgrade your device, but this will lose your data and file. This is the final method if finally you want to fix your device without go to service center. Steps to fix bootloop trouble:
- If it is correct already, copy and paste the file youve downloaded to SD Card/ Micro SD, put it on the outside directory (do not put it inside any folder) and insert SD Card to your device.
- Plug the charger (this to avoid running out of the battery)
- Go to droidboot mode by pressing power and volume + button simultaneously till the green android robot with its yellow helmet appears, and then you can remove your hands. In this session, your device supposed to be in droidboot mode.
- Scroll down by pressing volume - button and then select SD Download, and then press power button to execute it.
- Wait until the flashing process is completed,dont forget to pray to god to help this process.
- If flashing process finally cant run or just showing error, there are two possibilities, they are the file name was wrong or your SD card cant be read.
- If there is not problem between both above, this process is completed correctly and your device is fixed already.
- Done.

Actually we had ever created an article with similar title it was Cyanogenmoed 12.1 but it was for Android One and it runs for beta only. Therefore, in this article we suprize Zenfone 5 user because this Cyanogenmod is full and special for Zenfone 5 user who needs this ROM, though this is still unofficial. Though it still has some bugs, but you can enjoy this ROM well. You can also restore your ROM to official if one day you think you get borred of this ROM. This ROM can runs on Asus Zenfone 5 T00J and T00F version.
Some bugs in this version:
- GPS works not good
- Memory shows always full, it means you cant install some applications but it is okay
- Graphic glitches in some games such as Asphalt etc
- Some application show error when install from Google Play Store and dont work even installing them from apk manually
- Acessibility mode activated itself on setup wizard (random, not always)
- Cannot save wifi password, you must relogin after reboot

You just need to On USB debugging,connect your phone to PC and run cm12.1-installer.bat. And then about flashing, notice the steps bellow carefully:
