• Enable USB debugging on Asus Zenfone 2 Laser by going to menu Settings => About => press the Build Number 7 times until the notification "Now Youre Developer". Then go back to the menu Settings => Developer Option => USB Debugging (check to activate it).
• Go to the Fastboot Mode by turning off your Zenfone 2 first, then press and hold the power button and volume up simultaneously.
• Connect the Zenfone 2 Laser to your PC using a USB cable
• Extract mod_boot.img.zip. Then press the Shift key on the keyboard +  right-click on the mod_boot.img folder, then choose "Open command window here".
• Type the following command in the Command Prompt (CMD) 

fastboot boot mod_boot.img

• The rooting process will take several minutes, and the device (Zenfone 2 Laser) will automatically reboot.
• Use the Root checker application to check it. If the root is successful, will appear a picture with messages "Congratulations! Root access is properly installed...."

• press and hold volume down + power

• press and hold menu button and connect usb cable

• open tablet and check on pcb have button that press and connect usb cable

• Download all file below this article
• Install Intel USB Driver for Android on your PC
• Extract ADB File Fastboot tool
• Move the Firmware Zenfone 5 file into ADB fastboot tool folder
• Turn off your Zenfone 5
• Go to Fastboot mode by pressing power + volume up simultaneously
• If you are in Fastboot mode menu, select Recovery (use volume up and volume down to navigate and Power button to select)
• After that there will Android robot picture on your Zenfone 5 and that robot is sleeping with “No Command”
• Next, press and wait for a moment volume down then volume up just once and your Zenfone 5 will go to “Android System Recovery” mode
• If you have entered Android system recovery mode, then select “apply update from ADB”

• Wait for a moment until flashing process is completed
• After flashing process is completed you will return to Android System Recovery mode
• Now you can select Reboot Now
