Rooting our Sony Ericsson W8
Definition from Wikipedia:
"Rooting is a process that allows users of cellphones and other devices running the Android operating system to attain privileged control (known as "root access") within Androids Linux subsystem, overcoming limitations that the carriers and manufacturers put on such phones."
Warning:
First off, let me start by saying that if you dont think you need rooting, dont root.
It can be dangerous if done wrong, so be sure you know what youre doing.
With that out of the way, lets get going then.

[ but we can unroot our device before submitting to service center... ;-) ]
Actual Process:
We can use SuperOneClick or any of the following softwares for rooting our W8

Actual Process:
We can use SuperOneClick or any of the following softwares for rooting our W8
- Flash tool,Universal Androot ,Recovery Flasher,Easy Root,Unrevoked...use google to find them.
- Download SuperOneClick.
- On your phone, go to Settings -> Applications and enable Unknown Sources.
- Next, go to Settings -> Applications -> Development and enable USB debugging.
- You also need the proper USB drivers.(Install PC Companion to get the drivers.) To check if you have them, start SuperOneClick.exe and click Driver Check. If the driver check fails, update your phone with PC Companion.
- Now, connect your USB cable from your W8 to your computer. When connected it is VERY IMPORTANT to select CHARGE PHONE.
- Start SuperOneClick.exe and just click ROOT. Everything should go normally. You might get a message asking you if your OS is 2.0 or higher, just go ahead and click Yes.
- You should now be rooted! :)
Note: After rooting you will have application named SuperUser in you phone which is used to allow/deny root access to other applications.
Disclaimer: I wont be responsible if u damage your phone![dont worry....i have tried it myself......and you can restore your phone most of the times in case of software problems! :) ]

How to Flash Sony ericsson LT18i:
- Must Sony Ericsson LT18i mobile battery charged fully
- First copy Sony ericsson LT18i .ftf Firmware
- Paste in to C:Flashtoolfirmwares
- Open Sony Mobile flash tools
- Following below steps
Step : 1 Click on Firmware button see below image
Step : 2 Choose "Flashmode" button and click on ok button see below image

Step : 3 This is important step after select flashmode then next step see automatically firmware to be there (Note : if not automatically show firmware just you have to copy firmware or paste here -> C:Flashtoolfirmwares ) select firmware or click on Flash button

Step : 4 Following procedure if not understand so lets Press and hold Back button and insert USB cable

After this following Step 4 starting flashing process see below image like that

After Finished flashing process then you can see below image like in your computer

Important Note : If you have to perfect following this tutorial so you can success flash done because this is tested by me if any issue in your mobile like same problem after flash etc just write down your comment in below comment box i will reply soon or solution.
