First method:
- If the display is off, hold down the Power button to turn it back on.
- After that, from the Main Menu enter Settings.
- Then find and select Backup&Reset and tap Factory data reset.
- In the next step choose Reset device.
- Tap Erase Everything if you are sure you want to clear all your data.
- Finally select OK to confirm the whole operation.
- Well done! The hard reset has just been performed.
Second method:
- Start by downloading PC Companion, for example from here: http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
- Afterwards install it and run.
- Next, you will see window with 4 options.
- In the next step choose option "Support Zone New!", and click "Start".
- Wait for the program to install the appropriate add-on.
- After that you will see next window with 3 options.
- Go to option "Phone / Tablet Software Update", and click "Start".
- Select "repair my phone / tablet".
- Now follow the instructions and accept all informations.
- Please be patient and wait until preparing computer for software update is complete.
- Afterwards choose your phone / tablet model.
- If you see this window, then connect your device into your PC.
- Good job!
Third method:
- Firstly, download flashtool from Sony website: http://developer.sonymobile.com/services/flash-tool/
- Make sure, that you have installed drivers for your USB data cable.
- Afterwards turn your device off.
- Then press and hold Volume Down, and connect to USB cable.
- Follow the instructions on your screen, and accept appropriate options.
- Success!

- Download CWM Recovery (file below in this article)
- Put it in sdcard (not in folders)

These are the steps that you should follow to perform a hard reset in your LG L90 (DUAL) D405 & D405N & D410 using hardware keys.Do this method if you have encountered this following problem (Listed below) to reset your LG L90 (DUAL) D405 & D405N & D410 to factory default settings.
Following Problem may fix by doing a hard reset
Warning:Make sure the battery is fully charged and Make sure you have already back-up your important data because by doing this method all data save in phone will completely deleted..
1.Turn Off your LG L90 (DUAL) D405 & D405N & D410 .
2.Hold and Press Volume down and Power Button for about 25 to 40 seconds
3.When you see LG logo with appear, Press and HOLD the Power button again. We call this a Fastboot Mode.
4.Quickly release all keys or button when you see the Factory Reset Option on screen
5.Press the Volume Button to scroll to the desired option, then press the Power Button to confirm
6. Press the Power Button again to confirm factory data reset.
7.Wait until completely power on and follow on screen to continue using phone
That’s all. Now your LG L90 (DUAL) D405 & D405N & D410 back to factory default setting now.
